The Technical Stuff



 

Tech Spec


- All cars begin life as brand new shells and emerge ready to race after around 650 man hours labour.

- It costs approximatly $220k to $250k to build a NZ car compared to around $550 -$600k for an Australian Supercar.

- Engines are 5.0 litre alloy blocks with cast iron heads producing around 430bhp at 6400rpm.

- Transmissions are purpose built 4 speed straight cut Jerico's complete with competition clutch components (perfect for clutchless upshifts!)

- Differentials are a live rear axle (locked) with a control ratio of 3.08.

- Brakes are Wilwood six piston calipers front & four piston for the rear complete with water spray cooling systems.

- Minimum weight with driver is 1440kg.
